We had an enjoyable time dressing up as the Three Kings/Wise Men on Tuesday evening for the Feast of the Epiphany of Our Lord. I had the honor of being Balthazar. Joseph Cirillo, President of the Catholic Fellowship of NJ, was Melchior. And Joseph Lucia, a seminarian, was Gaspar. Nina Talao of the Catholic Fellowship was our costumer. We gave out candy to the children and blessed incense and chalk (for blessing the house) to the adults.
The Solemn High Mass in the Extraordinary Form (Traditional Latin Mass) was celebrated at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church located at 457 Monmouth Street in Downtown Jersey City. The church is New Jersey’s oldest Polish parish.
Pax et bonum,
Anthony “Tony Mangia” Scillia
